Macedonia's Government earmarks per EUR 100,000 in additional aid to Serbia, Bosnia/Herzegovina

Macedonia from its state budget will earmark per EUR 100,000 in additional aid to Serbia and Bosnia/Herzegovina, the Government decided on Tuesday.

It has also decided for all funds raised by open phone lines for donations to be sent to Serbia and Bosnia/Herzegovina, i.e. the state will not keep but send the amount of value-added tax to flooded countries after the completion of the humanitarian campaign on May 30, Government spokesman Aleksandar Gjorgiev said on Tuesday.

He advised all companies, which intend to offer donations to Serbia and Bosnia, to visit the Ministry of Justice in order to be released from certain tax burdens, Gjorgiev said.
