Subsidies for interest rates towards greater use of IPARD funds, announced Thursday Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy Mihail Cvetkov.

The Government measure will be intended for IPARD beneficiaries, available from the onset of 2016.

"The measure will encompass IPARD beneficiaries who have signed an agreement with the Payment Agency, valid for all banks in Macedonia. The state will cover 50 percent of the interest rate that cannot exceed eight percent and for loans up to EUR 500.000", said Cvetkov at the sidelines of the Agro-Business Forum in Skopje.

The ministry will hold info-days throughout Macedonia up to December 25, where farmers can obtain specific data over the measure.
