Prime Minister Zaev and the Delegation of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia begin their participation in the UN General Assembly on September 23

The President of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia Zoran Zaev and the Government Delegation comprised of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia in charge of European Affairs Bujar Osmani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikola Dimitrov, the Minister of Health Venko Filipche and the Minister of Environment and Physical Planning Naser Nuredini,, from September 23 to September 28 will participate in the activities of the United Nations General Assembly (GA) in New York, which this year is held for the 74th time.

Prime Minister Zaev and the Ministers in the Delegation will participate in the activities of the forums within the framework of the four summits organized this year: Climate Change Summit, Summit on Universal Access to Quality Health-Care Services, Sustainable Development Goals Summit, and Summit on Financing for Development.

The program of Prime Minister Zaev includes an official meeting with the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, as well as attendance of the reception at the invitation of the President of the United States of America Donald Trump and his wife Melania, on the occasion of the 74th UN General Assembly.

The intensive program of Prime Minister Zaev and the Delegation of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia at this event of global dimensions is filled with numerous bilateral meetings and participation in events and discussions organized by Heads of State or Government, as well as in the organization of think tanks and other international organizations and academic and media institutions.

The official address of the President of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia Zoran Zaev at the United Nations General Assembly is scheduled for September 28, in the morning session.
