New learning management system in public administration and continuation of usage of new technologies aimed at being timely and permanently educated in order to fulfill efficiently and effectively the citizens’ requests with new innovative measures for reforms in administration in Macedonia both on central and local level, Minister of Information Society and Administration Ivo Ivanovski said at Monday’s press conference.

Pointing out the need of introduction of system, he said that classic model of organizing employees’ trainings takes time and both material and human resources.

Learning management system as a model allows accurate and increased training scope whereat quality is not reduced. At the same time the system enables evaluation and monitoring the results of all training phases without taking too much time. Trainings will be available to all employees in public administration and system will save time, no absence from work and lower expenses compared to classic training type.

The opportunity for usage of e-learning forms in the system enables significantly time reduction needed for the training because the participants in the trainings can receive the training at their work place or outside working hours, Ivanovski said.

System makes the learning contents available 24/7 for every user from any web location that has Internet access.

Now is the right time to begin with the project which will be constantly upgraded and will be driving force for development of the competences required for the progress of the administration according to the passed methodology of government’s competences, Ivanovski said.
