The President of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia, Talat Xhaferi, today met the Ambassador of Albania, H.E. Fatos Reka for a farewell meeting.

During the meeting, they discussed the relations between the Republic of North Macedonia and the Republic of Albania featuring sincere friendship and mutual
understanding without any open disputes.

PM Xhaferi extended appreciation to Ambassador Reka for his sincere contribution to the enhancement of the bilateral cooperation between the neighbouring countries,
especially in areas of economy, increase of trade exchange and realization of infrastructural projects connecting North Macedonia and Albania.

Both interlocutors underlined that the countries, being NATO allies and countries, whose common objective is EU membership, share same values and give contribution to the
reinforcement of the regional cooperation, thus guaranteeing secure and stable region.

PM Xhaferi, as a token of gratitude, offered Ambassador Reka a recognition of his professional commitment and contribution to the enhancement of cooperation between
North Macedonia and Albania and bid him good health and future personal and professional success in his professional endeavours.
