Today the President of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia, Hristijan Mickoski, had a meeting with the Ambassador of Federal Republic of Germany, H.E. Petra Drexler.
At the meeting, the two exchanged opinions and views on current political and economic affairs, as well as on the progress of the integration of the country into the European Union. President Mickoski underlined the importance of the partnership with Germany while emphasizing that the support provided by Germany is of key importance for the development and stability of the country.
“Germany is our partner and friend and remains of particularly important strategic interest. Their support and cooperation are of immense importance for our country. We will continue working together in the spirit of partnership and shared values,” said Mickoski.
Ambassador Drexler reaffirmed the commitment of Germany for continuation of the excellent cooperation with North Macedonia so far while reiterating the readiness to provide support in key reforms and projects foreseen for the forthcoming period.
The meeting ended with an agreement to further strengthen bilateral relations and intensify cooperation in various areas of mutual interest.
