Deputy Secretary General of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia

Hasim Murtezani  was born on July 17, in 1986 in Skopje.

In 2008, he graduated at the Faculty of Public Administration at the South East European University in Tetovo. In 2015, he obtained a master’s degree in Security Studies at the Faculty of Law at South East European University in Tetovo. 

His professional career began in 2009 in the private sector. From 2012 to 2013 he worked as the manager of a company from the country with a representative office in Kosovo. From 2013 to 2017, he worked as the manager of a company from the country with a representative office in Albania.

In 2021, Hasim Murtezani ran for mayor of the Saraj Municipality, as a candidate of the movement BESA.

In 2021, he worked as a special advisor to the general director of the Railways of Republic of North Macedonia -Transport, marking his engagement into the public sector. 

In 2024, he ran as a candidate for member of the Assembly from among the coalition VLEN. 

Hasim Murtezani in addition to Albanian is fluent in Macedonian and English.
