Project on crediting small and micro enterprises comes into force

As of today, unemployed persons and companies can apply in Employment Agency for use of government's project for crediting micro and small enterprises by opening new jobs, intended for business expansion. Denar 100 million from the budget for crediting this social-economic measure is expected to open new 550 jobs.

Labour Minister Spiro Ristovski appealed to companies that fulfil criteria to submit application in working clubs of 30 employment centres in entire country.

The measure is introduced for the first time. It is modified adequately to experiences from previous years, and is a motivation especially for legal entities that started own businesses in last years, Ristovski said at Tuesday's press conference.

Crediting amounts EUR 3.000 per employed person with a maximum amount of EUR 9.000 for three newly employed persons. The company that will employ persons with funds from this project will be obliged to keep the employees engaged at least 36 months from the day when they were employed for the first time. Otherwise the company should be obliged to repay full credit prematurely.

Ristovski said that companies would receive funds under significantly favourable conditions - 1% interest rate, one-year grace period, two-years repayment and half a year payment on two equal rates. The company should provide guarantee for funds repayment with mortgage ratio 1:1 with approved credit.

Director of the Employment Agency Vlatko Popovski said that the project wraps up a group of 12 government's social-economic measures. In the next 20 days every company, which meets the criteria and is in a need of employment, will be able to receive the credit.
