Minister Todorov meets Slovenian counterpart Gantar

 

Minister of Health Nikola Todorov met Tuesday with his Slovenian counterpart Tomaz Gantar on his two-day trip to Slovenia. Interlocutors concluded that sharing of experiences and knowledge between health institutions and experts from Macedonia and Slovenia would play a role in the improvement of countries' health systems.

Todorov and Gantar discussed ways to advance bilateral cooperation in relation to healthcare, especially in training necessary staff, the ministry says in a press release.

On his part, the Slovenian minister voiced open support for exchange of staff aimed at continuous medical education, sharing of experiences and knowledge, joint performance of certain operational procedures as well as other forms of direct cooperation between clinics in Macedonia and adequate institutions in Slovenia.

Furthermore, minister Todorov visited the Clinical Center in Ljubljana for a meeting with its management.
