Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski met Friday with European Athletics president Hansjoerg Wirz, focusing on the sport development in Macedonia and investments in the field.

PM Gruevski referred to the construction of world-standard athletics tracks at Skopje and Ohrid stadiums, as well as the planned procurement of new equipment for athletics competitions.

Wirz saluted the Government's investments in the sport and thanked state institutions for cooperating with the Athletics Federation of Macedonia in realization of its priorities.
