Macedonia-Argentina friendly relations confirmed

Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski met Friday in Buenos Aires with Argentina's Vice-President Amado Boudou, confirming bilateral friendly relations and interest for further enhancement in all fields of mutual interest.

Gruevski and Boudou stressed political factors in both countries should promote the establishment of concrete economic relations towards intensifying economic cooperation, trade exchange and cooperation among companies.

Continual reforms, initiatives for improvement of the economic standard and overcoming of challenges resulting from the global economic crisis, as well as modernization of societies are priorities of both countries.

PM Gruevski stressed Argentina was a friendly country offering perspectives for cooperation, adding Macedonia would be committed to enhancement of relations in all fields. He presented benefits for foreign investors that could be used by Argentinean multinational companies in expanding their output at global markets.

Vice President Boudou saluted the initiative for development of bilateral relations, saying Macedonia could promote its ideas for projects, reforms and initiatives in the economic field before economic groups by using Argentina's logistics.

Moreover, Gruevski and Boudou voiced readiness for enhancement of parliamentary cooperation through working groups.
