Zaev and Trudeau: As NATO allies we will strive for stronger friendly relations and reinforcement of economic relations between North Macedonia and Canada

Today the President of the Government of Republic of North Macedonia, Zoran Zaev and the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau had a meeting. 

At the meeting with the Canadian Prime Minister, attended by Deputy President in the Government and the Minister of Defence Radmila Shekerinska, Deputy President in the Government in charge of European Affairs, Bujar Osmani and the Foreign Minister Nikola Dimitrov, Prime Minister Trudeau welcome the soon full-fledged membership of North Macedonia in NATO which is result of the successful reforms which came after restoring democracy in the country and were followed by the Euro-Atlantic integration processes. 

Prime Ministers Zaev and Trudeau during the meeting reaffirmed the determination of both countries to build stronger friendly relations, and now, as allies in the Alliance, underlined that they will both invest efforts to enhance the economic relations and will promote the possibilities for investments of the companies from the business community of Canada in our country.
